What better way to start this blog than on Valentine's Day! Some people love
it and some people hate it...What’s your thought? When I was single I would get
all my single girlfriends together for a scary movie night. We would make great
food, have great wine and just have a great date night with friends. I'm wondering what other great ideas people have put together with other single friends on Valentine's Day...?
It’s been fun listening to the things people are saying around me:
"My husband always gives the best gifts."
"I'm sure he's been thinking about what to get me for weeks."
"My boyfriend never gets me flowers."
"If he didn't get me a good gift...he isn't getting any."
Waging how much someone loves you on one day is a huge
blind spot! I see Valentine's Day as being a day to say "I love you"
to someone. Whether that someone be a family member, friend, husband,
boyfriend, girlfriend the family Pet. It’s a day to say something nice out loud.
What am I doing this Valentine's Day you may be asking. I'm going home to my amazing boxer dog and to the most wonderful man I could of asked for in my life. We're making chicken pot pie together and having a glass of wine.
